1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("DrawIQ", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the DrawIQ service (the "Service"). DrawIQ is a business-to-business platform offered to business users in the United States.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and the workspace information you provide.
Customer Data. We collect and process the drawings, pricing lists, project information, and estimate data you upload or create in the Service. This data belongs to you; we process it to provide the Service.
Usage information. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as log data, device and browser information, IP address, and timestamps, for security, troubleshooting, and improvement.
Security and audit information. We maintain audit records of significant account and security events (such as logins, lockouts, two-factor changes, and administrative actions) to protect your account and the platform.
Payment information. When you subscribe, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers; we receive limited transaction information from the processor.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, operate, and maintain the Service; authenticate users and secure accounts; process payments; communicate with you about your account, security, and service changes; troubleshoot and improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not display third-party advertising in the Service.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- Service providers. We use third-party infrastructure and processing providers (for example, cloud hosting, file storage, email delivery, and payment processing) that process information on our behalf under appropriate obligations.
- Within your workspace. Information you create in a workspace is visible to other members of that workspace according to their roles.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of DrawIQ, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If DrawIQ is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Storage and Security
Customer Data and files are stored using third-party cloud infrastructure providers. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, access controls, two-factor authentication options, and tenant isolation between workspaces.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and Customer Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure or termination, we may retain data for a reasonable period for backup, legal, and operational purposes, after which it is deleted. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can access and update your account information within the Service. You may request a copy of your data or request that we delete it by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will respond to verified requests as required.
You may opt out of non-essential communications. Certain service and security communications are necessary and cannot be opted out of while you maintain an account.
8. International Users
The Service is intended for business users in the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. The Service is not directed to individuals located outside the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the version and effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
